Sisters Seed to Table program – Volunteer/Intern
The mission of the Seed to Table Program (S2T) is to increase health and wellness of students and families, specifically decreasing obesity, in the Sisters community through providing equal access to nutritious foods and offering opportunities in garden based wellness education. Volunteer and internship opportunities are available for motivated individuals to gain some experience in the world of non profit organizations and experiential education surrounding agriculture, health and science.The Seed to Table Program support edible education for over 120 children in the Sisters School District by performing necessary preparatory duties in the garden and kitchen, assisting in classes, helping with events, and contributing to the behind-the-scenes workings of the organization. Interns and volunteers will work closely with Seed to Table Program director to set goals and create a positive and educational experience.
