Successful Businesses: From Groundwork to Fruition
Learn practical advice, tools, and skills with your peers in this discussion-style business planning workshop with a panel of producers, High Desert Food and Farm Alliance, and AgWest Farm Credit Services.
A registration packet with materials and resources will be provided to all registrants to help prepare for the event.
Julie Larkin, of Larkin Valley Ranch; Frank Maricle, of Well Rooted Farms; and Benji Nagel, of Mahonia Gardens will be speaking with AgWest Farm Credit Services’ Bailey Annen and High Desert Food and Farm Alliance’s Agricultural Support Manager, Andrea Smith. We will cover topics from land access, creating community, and maximizing efficiency on small acreage, as well as the many projects and programs that both HDFFA and NWFCS offer for both beginning farmers and ranchers and more experienced Central Oregonian producers.
